To make a torrent file, it kinda depends on what the fuck are you using as a client.

I personally enjoy qBittorrent, which is what I’ll use for this tutorial.

First, download and install qBittorrent.

Second, open it and set it up according to your preferences, if you have any.

Now, go to Tools -> Torrent Creator (or click CTRL+N).

From that point on, it’s pretty self explanatory. Just don’t forget to press “Calculate number of pieces“ after selecting the file or folder.

Also, if you want ANYONE to be able to download that shit (and eventually become part of the network), make sure to enable “Start seeding immediately“.

Just to give a heads-up, if you just want it as a web-seed, you need to put your DIRECT DOWNLOAD LINK onto the webseeds field.

Web seeds pretty much do the cool thing of letting the file be downloadable (unless your server also goes offline) even when there are no seeders, making torrent clients get it from your HTTP server and eventually seed.

Now add the .torrent file or magnet link to your web page, send to your friends or whatever you need it for.
